Exciting Activities on Cruise Tours

    • Cruises are a lifelong-dream vacation for many people. Once the passengers are on board, it is the cruise director's job to assure they do not become bored and disillusioned with the experience. In itself, floating on a big boat can be fun, but activities with other people with whom you have no prior relationship is what helps make the cruise memorable. Who knows---you may even have the "Love Boat" experience come to life during these unity building games.

    Karaoke Cruises

    • Karaoke and cruises were made for each other. Take advantage of the freedom to release your inner Janis Joplin or Tom Petty far from the worries of work and home. Cruise takers have long found karaoke a fun way to release some energy, with liquid courage provided by their favorite adult beverage. They don't have to worry about driving home or about running into anyone they know. A recent trend allows karaoke singers to sing with the accompaniment of a live band.

    Team Building: Murder Mystery

    • More dramatic passengers will be the first to volunteer for the Murder Mystery games. Teams of passengers are dressed in costumes and given scripts to read. During the action of the play, clues give the game players an idea of which member or members among them committed the murder. Several versions of the game have been used with great success and popularity at dinner shows in restaurants, on cruise ships and at large corporate gatherings.

    Casino Cruises

    • Once the ship is 3 miles off shore, the dice can roll freely. The cruise ship can operate like a riverboat casino of times past. Las-Vegas-style table games such as black jack, poker, Texas-hold-'em and roulette wheels entertain cruise guests into the night. Slot machines empty their treasure and help a lucky few finance their trip. Others learn the lesson that gambling is a fun but expensive habit.
