    • Santorini, Greece is a volcanic island located off the southeast coast of Greece. Santorini, also called Thera or Thira, is surrounded by the Aegean Sea. This cruise leaves from either Heraklion or Rethymnon depending on the day. It departs from Heraklion on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from Rethymnon on Tuesday and Saturday. The cruise does not run on Thursday and Sunday. Prices vary based on ages. Children 0 to 6 are free, and children 7 through 12 get a 50 percent discount on the rate. The cruise leaves at 6:15 a.m. in the morning, and you travel upon the MTS Golden Prince. Breakfast and dinner are served onboard, and there is dancing and music after dinner. The cruise departs from Santorini at 5:30 p.m. arriving back at the starting point at about 10:00 p.m.

    • Departing from Heraklion, you will sail upon a flying category 4 catamaran. This ferry is only for passengers; you cannot bring your car. The ferry departs daily, except for certain Wednesdays, from Heraklion. The ferry makes stops at Ios, Paros, Mykonos and Santorini. You may choose between economy or business class; business class has spacious, quiet cabins on the top deck. The ferry usually departs about 9:45 a.m., with times subject to change.

    Anek Lines to East Crete

    • This ferry leaves East Crete destinations and stops at Santorini, Heraklion, Sitia, Kasos, Kapathos and Rhodes. The ferry only travels to Santorini on certain days, including Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Some ferries leave from and return to Rhodes, with stops at Santorini. You should call ahead to determine whether or not the ferry is leaving on the day that you would like to travel. Departure times vary.
